Chaline worked on brands such as Disney, Warners, Universal & UNESCO as well as food, financial & retail brands & she spearheaded hundreds of world-first products from product design to marketing across 22 countries, before co-founding health clinics recognised by BUPA, Aviva etc.  She combined health & design in her multiple award-winning Masters in Interior Architecture then founded FreeSpace Design for healthy interiors architecture (non-toxic spaces for healthy futures).

Paul’s groundbreaking MSc thesis compared the Hannover Principles (C2C®) to Holmgren’s Principles of Permaculture. He has personally shared copies of the book “Cradle to Cradle: Rethinking the way we make things” with over 400 people & counting.  Previously a surveyor at the Ordnance Survey for 30 years & crafting his family home using C2C® & Passiv Haus as inspiration, Paul is an authentic C2C® global pioneer, but London-based.

Paul also runs the Cradle to Cradle Marketplace (C2CMP), the world’s first online web store dedicated to C2C®, to bring consumers access to what he calls “The Good Stuff”.  C2CMP’s mission is to create a spiral of true prosperity, using the sale of C2C Certified® goods as the engine of great change.

Howie Fendley, US Chemist, Sustainability Consultant and Public Speaker, brings 18 years of specialist circular materials experience to the 540 WORLD team across multiple market sectors, including personal care, fashion, textiles, interior and exterior building products, formulated products and raw materials.

Howie worked for one of the Cradle to Cradle® Founders, William McDonough from 2001 as part of MBDC's pioneering team as both Project Director and Senior Chemist.  He was in charge of assessing materials and manufacturing processes for their human and ecological health in addition to the energy, water, and social fairness requirements for the C2C Certified® Products Program.  Howie's company, Bluezone is committed to supporting and promoting a safe, circular economy though key, global collaborations and partnerships.
